Biography

Ward B Councilwoman Mira Prinz-Arey is a local civic leader and an active member of the Ward B community. She served on the executive board of Jersey City Parks Coalition where, among her many achievements, she worked with Feed JC to facilitate the “Dinner in the Park” series designed to bring awareness to important city issues. For the past five years, she has been a trustee of the West Side Community Alliance and co-founded WSCA’s farmers market. She also co-created West Side Arts & Music, which showcases local artists and musicians and produces the free “Lincoln Park Live” summer music series.

As a member of Keep Jersey City Beautiful, she helped organize the inaugural Great Jersey City Clean Up. In 2016, she was presented with the Woman of Action Award. Mira lives with her husband, Howard, on Jersey City’s West Side and works as a Development Coordinator for a local non-profit.
