CITY COUNCIL MEETING SCHEDULE AND INFORMATION

In general, City Council Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at 6:00 PM, unless otherwise designated. Find the 2026 Jersey City Council and Caucus schedule here:
Council meetings are open to the public, who are welcome to speak during the designated public comment times.  Members of the public wishing to speak are advised to contact the City Clerk before the meeting.

Council Caucuses Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 4:00 PM, unless otherwise designated.  The purpose of caucuses is to discuss agenda items for the upcoming meeting.

Caucuses are open to the public; however, there is no opportunity for public comment.  The Council may also hold closed caucuses during which the public is excluded.  In addition, the council may have a pre-meeting caucus one-half hour before any scheduled council meeting.

Note that all caucuses are held in the Anna Cucci Memorial Council Chambers, City Hall, 280 Grove Street, Second Floor.
