MUNICIPAL ELECTION

The Municipal Election will take place on November 4, 2025. Candidates for Mayor and all nine Municipal Council seats will be on the ballot; a sample of which is available HERE.

Early voting will officially commence in Hudson County this weekend! Early Voting is from October 26th – November 3rd. You may cast your vote at any of the twenty-seven (27) locations conveniently located throughout Hudson County. No appointment is necessary, so you can vote at a time that is easy for you. A list of early voting locations throughout Hudson County can be found here for your reference.

Early Voting Hours are as follows:
Friday: 10:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M.
Saturday: 10:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M.
Sunday: 10:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M.

If you'd like to apply in person for your Vote-by-Mail, please stop by our office by Monday, November 4th by 3:00 P.M. Our office is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 A.M. -4:30 P.M.

We will be offering extended hours for the Division of Elections on Saturday, November 2nd from 9:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. . Our office is located at 257 Cornelison Avenue - 4th Floor, Jersey City, NJ 07302.

If you'd like to cast your vote on Election Day Tuesday, November 5th polling locations will be open from 6:00 A.M.
